The Patient Access Network (PAN) Foundation was founded in October 2004 as a solution to help the underinsured access the health care they so desperately need to continue living a relatively normal and productive lifestyle. Since then, PAN has provided more than 60,000 underinsured patients with over $99 million dollars in much needed financial assistance to cover out-of-pocket medical expenses. Many of these patients would have few alternatives without the help of PAN. That’s why charitable donations from both the public and private sector are so crucial to continuing the financial assistance provided by the Foundation. The Patient Access Network Foundation is an independent, national 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to providing underinsured patients with co-payment assistance through 21 disease-specific funds that give them access to the treatments they need.
