On Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 1:00 EDT PAN stakeholders joined us for a webcast featuring the results of our recent survey of PAN patients.  This presentation helped participants gain insight into how our patients access their medications, their ability to comply with their doctor’s instructions, and their reaction to healthcare reform.
 
We surveyed 2000 PAN patients this year, and over 37% of patients responded. We wanted to get a broad perspective from patients year-to-year, so the survey included a number of questions that paralleled those we asked in our 2009 patient survey.  The webcast answered these questions:
 
    * What is the impact of the copayment assistance on patient lives?
    * Is a patient who receives PAN assistance more compliant with their treatment regimen?
    * What is the patient perspective on healthcare reform?
    * What other needs do patients have?
