Information About the Disease

Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma (CTCL) is a general term for many lymphomas of the skin including mycosis fungoides and others.  All cases of mycosis fungoides are CTCL, but not all CTCLs are mycosis fungoides. There is a greater frequency of CTCL-MF among men than women and it is more common after the age of 50. There are approximately 16,000 to 20,000 cases across the United States.
