Amber McCracken brings more than 25 years of experience managing domestic and international communications programs at purpose-driven nonprofits, companies, and public relations agencies. As the senior director for marketing and communications for the PAN Foundation, Amber provides strategic direction to generate demand for the organization’s services by elevating PAN’s visibility among external audiences.
Prior to joining PAN, Amber served as director of communications for other national non-profit organizations including HealthyWomen, the American Academy of HIV Medicine and the Alliance for Aging Research. Amber has also worked at top public relations agencies, include Hill & Knowlton, Ruder Finn (now Finn Partners) and Glassroth Creative Strategies.
Amber holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Communications from Wake Forest University.
A native North Carolinian, Amber lives in New Bern, NC, and loves travel, music, going to the beach, and spending time with her husband and two children.
