Morning Consult: Another costly January has come and gone for Medicare Part D beneficiaries

For Medicare beneficiaries living with life-threatening, chronic and rare diseases, January is the month when seniors and those who are disabled are asked to dig deep into their wallets.

High deductibles, co-pays and coinsurance limit access to medications that are essential for patients’ well-being, and in some cases, their survival. PAN Foundation’s President and CEO Dan Klein co-wrote an opinion that recently appeared in Morning Consult to discuss how the Medicare Part D program is in desperate need of reform.
