1. What is the app?

We often hear from patients and providers how difficult it is to track whether a patient assistance program is available. The PAN Foundation’s new FundFinder app provides this information in one place and notifies you when a disease fund opens at any of the charitable foundations.

2. Who created FundFinder?

The PAN Foundation created the FundFinder app by pulling in information about each disease program’s status from the websites of charitable foundations. In addition to the PAN Foundation, the app tracks information from the following websites:

  • » CancerCare
  • » Good Days
  • » HealthWell
  • » Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
  • » Patient Advocate Foundation
  • » Patient Services, Inc.
3.  Who can use FundFinder?

Anyone interested in learning about the status of disease funds can use the FundFinder app.

4. How do I use FundFinder?

When the FundFinder app launches in December 2018, you can access the app via your web browser on your computer, tablet or phone. From here, you can subscribe to notifications for specific disease funds. You can also choose if you prefer to be notified of your selected disease fund openings by text message or email.

5. Does signing up for FundFinder or a notification guarantee me a grant or financial assistance?

No, FundFinder app notifications are purely informational and do not guarantee assistance. All assistance is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to each foundation’s criteria.

6. How can I access the app?

In December 2018, visit panfoundation.org/app. When you click the FundFinder app button on the PAN Foundation website, the app will open in a new webpage on your browser. The app is not currently available in the App or Google Play Stores.

7.  When will FundFinder be available?

The FundFinder app will launch in December 2018. Stay tuned for the official launch date!
