Assistance Amount

$5,500 per year. Patients may apply for a second grant during their eligibility period subject to availability of funding.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. The patient must be getting treatment for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
  2. The patient must have Medicare health insurance that covers his or her qualifying medication or product. 
  3. The patient’s medication or product must be listed on PAN’s list of covered medications.
  4. The patient’s income must fall at or below 400% of the Federal Poverty Level.
  5. The patient must reside and receive treatment in the United States or U.S. territories. (U.S. citizenship is not a requirement.)

About the Disease:

Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL) is a type of blood cancer that originates in the lymphatic system. NHL affects the circulatory system. Subtypes include adult T-cell leukemia or lymphoma, AIDS-related B-cell lymphomas, Burkitt lymphoma, Chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma, gastric MALT lymphoma, hairy cell leukemia, lymphoblastic lymphoma, mantle cell lymphoma, mycosis fungoides or Sézary syndrome, nasal type, nodal marginal zone lymphoma, nongastric MALT lymphoma, peripheral T-cell lymphomas, post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorders and Castleman’s disease, primary cutaneous B-cell lymphomas, primary cutaneous CD30+ T-cell lymphoproliferative disorders, splenic marginal zone lymphoma, T-cell large granular lymphocytic leukemia and T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia.
