PAN earns Charity Navigator’s Community Choice Award for the second year

The PAN Foundation has been honored with a prestigious national award, earning Charity Navigator’s 2024 Community Choice Award—marking the second year in a row PAN has won this award. Following two rounds of public voting earlier this summer, PAN was crowned the winner of the super-sized category, beating out over 30 other organizations. This recognition reinforces the critical role PAN plays in increasing access to lifesaving treatments, advocating for healthcare access and affordability, and educating people throughout their healthcare journey.

Only organizations that had achieved Charity Navigator’s perfect four-star rating—deemed high-performing, impactful organizations based on their comprehensive evaluation framework—high-performing, impactful organizations—were nominated for the Community Choice Award. As a four-star rated organization and two-time Community Choice Award winner, PAN exceeds best practices and industry standards and is deemed a highly effective charity.

“While all awards are meaningful, it’s always special when the honor comes directly from the people we support every day,” said Kevin L. Hagan, PAN’s President and CEO. “This award highlights PAN’s commitment to our patients and the impact we continue to make towards helping people on their healthcare journey.”
