PAN joins 75 patient advocacy groups in letter asking that all copays are counted toward annual out-of-pocket costs
The PAN Foundation joined a letter from All Copays Count Coalition to the Secretaries of the US Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and the Treasury, urging them to ensure that any revision to the cost-sharing rule for copay accumulator adjustment policies includes protections that guarantee copayments made by patients count toward their annual cost-sharing contributions.
In the letter, the coalition of 76 patient advocacy and provider organizations also requested a meeting with the departments to provide additional information supporting the request.
