PAN’s Center for Patient Research featured in Modern Healthcare article on healthcare priorities in the 2024 presidential election
Leading up to the 2024 presidential election, lingering healthcare priorities seem to be missing from the top campaign issues being talked about by the candidates on both sides of the aisle. In a recent Modern Healthcare article, they explore the impact the election—and the lack of messaging about healthcare—might have on the priorities set out by Congress when they are back in session.
In particular, the article highlights that the lesser elevation of healthcare issues on the campaign trail can be seen in polls, including a recent poll by PAN’s Center for Patient Research looking into awareness of upcoming Medicare Part D reforms going into effect on January 1, 2025. The lack of awareness of the Medicare Part D cap and Medicare Prescription Payment Plan shows a gap among voters, which is why the PAN Foundation recently launched a Medicare reforms educational campaign.
