PAN’s Center for Patient Research polling on healthcare financial stress featured in Benefits Pro
The PAN Foundation’s Center for Patient Research recently released findings of a new national poll which found that found many commercially insured people are nervous about their out-of-pocket healthcare costs, among other key findings.
This Benefits Pro article highlights some of these key findings, including the fact that 61 percent of people with commercial insurance are somewhat or very stressed about their healthcare financial obligations in 2024. The article also highlighted the policy priorities survey respondents feel are important in 2025, including coverage for dental, vision, and hearing services (39 percent) and help with the out-of-pocket costs for prescription medications (38 percent).
