Peggy Carter was diagnosed with ocular and generalized Myasthenia Gravis (MG). This rare neurological disease impacts her sight and every voluntary muscle in her body. MG is chronic and progressive, but she keeps a positive attitude and has deep faith. Peggy spent the majority of her career in banking, specifically in the technical and operational areas. She retired as a Senior Vice President then went on to open her own business. Later she worked administratively in a hospital assisting surgeons, caregivers and patients. Peggy loves spending time with her three grandkids and her dog Buckeye, playing on a shuffleboard league and scrapbooking.
