Luisa Santa-Coleman, MPH, is a committed advocate for health equity, dedicated to being the voice in the room speaking up for marginalized groups, and driving lasting, systemic change. With over 14 years of experience in public health education and nonprofit leadership, Luisa channels this passion into identifying, addressing, and dismantling the barriers that keep underserved communities from receiving the care they need.

With a career path rooted in by her core beliefs, Luisa has worked to actively engage diverse populations, from patients to healthcare professionals to government agencies and law enforcement, fostering dialogue and strides towards improved public health outcomes.

Previously, as Chief Program Officer for MOMS Orange County, California, Luisa has demonstrated her dedication to advancing maternal and child health initiatives. Luisa is committed to ensuring that policies, programs, and communications prioritize inclusivity and address the needs of underrepresented communities. In her last role as Education Director at HealthyWomen, Luisa led over 40 educational programs, prioritized Spanish materials for marginalized populations, and forged strong relationships with funders and stakeholders. A clear communicator and effective leader who empowers teams and fosters collaboration for a better world, Luisa is dedicated to creating lasting impact through collaboration and compassion.

In her personal time, she enjoys exploring new countries, reading, and hiking with her active-duty husband and cherishing precious moments with their young daughter.
